Statkraft Grí¸ner has been awarded a NOK3.5 million engineering design of the Kopstad-Gulli section of highway E18 in Vestfold county, including three bored tunnels: Flí¥r (west tube, 870 m / east tube 850 m), Dí¸vik (west tube, 570 m / east tube, 600 m) and Hem (west tube, 910 m / east tube, 940 m). All T9.5 profile (9.5 m in width). Also two cut-and-cover tunnels: Steinbjí¸rnrí¸d (2 x 110 m, 11 m-wide) and Gulli (2 x 175 m, 13 m-wide). Planned method for rock tunnels is drill/blast with rockbolts and sprayed concrete as support. Work periods: August 2004-October 2007 (lot 1) and October 2004-October 2007 (lot 2).
