Project Scope
The State of Salzburg has launched an open procedure for the installation of operational and safety technical systems in two road tunnels on the B178 Loferer Strasse, an important regional road corridor in the Salzburg region connecting Austria with Germany via the Lofer area.
The contract covers the supply, installation and commissioning of tunnel operational and safety systems in the Achberg and Lärchberg tunnels. Works are expected to include integration of electromechanical and control systems required for safe tunnel operation, including power supply, monitoring and control equipment, and safety infrastructure typically associated with modern road tunnel operation.
