Scope of Works
Design and construction of the main civil infrastructure for the Dublin MetroLink project, procured through two major works contracts:
Contract M401 – Southern Section
Contract M402 – Northern Section
The contracts together comprise the underground and surface civil works for a new metro line serving the Dublin metropolitan area.

Alignment: Charlemont to Northwood
Scope includes:
Construction of running tunnels
Shafts and portals
Underground station boxes and structures, including:

St. Stephen’s Green
Tara Street
O’Connell Street
Mater
Glasnevin
Griffith Park
Collins Avenue
Ballymun
Northwood
Underground works reaching depths of up to approximately 35 m
Associated civil and structural infrastructure
Contract M402 – Northern Section
Alignment: Northwood to the Estuary
Scope includes:
Construction of tunnels, shafts, and portals
Station structures delivered in multiple configurations:
Underground
Trench (cut-and-cover)
Surface
Viaduct structures
Associated civil infrastructure works

Contract M401: €4.57 billion (excluding VAT)
Contract M402: €3.35 billion (excluding VAT)
