Scope of Works

Construction of Lot B of the Genoa Urban Sub-Port Tunnel, a major underground road crossing beneath the city of Genoa. The contract includes execution of the core tunnel infrastructure, associated connections, safety installations and surface integration works.

For tendering and execution purposes, the project is subdivided into sub-lots B0, B1 and B2.

• Tunnel type: Urban road tunnel
• Total length: approx. 3.4 km
• Configuration:
• Two parallel TBM-excavated carriageways
• Connecting bypass tunnels
• Associated works:
• Tunnel safety, control and plant systems
• Portal structures
• Landscaped park areas at both tunnel portals

€970.20 million (excluding VAT)
