The JV FADEP Srl (Leader)/Ceprini Costruzioni Srl/Ricciardello Costruzioni Srl from Naples secured the EUR31,534,900.38 contract, excluding VAT, for work to speed up the existing Catania-Siracusa railway line, section Bicocca-Augusta (km233+634 – km 280+000), excluding the historical sections km240+464-km243+328 and km267+269 - km269+364. The contract includes works on the existing railway line and/or new alignement, implementation and/or maintenance of civil works in the headquarters, equipment (IS, telecommunications, light and E&M), on the Lentini branch, Lentini, Brucoli and Agnone stations\plants, works for improving safety in the 1,519 m Valsavoia tunnel.
