On the 10/07/2021 China’s largest homemade EPB TBM rolled off the production line at Changsha N.2 Industrial Park where CRCHI (China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Ltd) is based in Changsha City part of central China's Hunan Province. It was domestically produced by the China Railway 14th Bureau Group Co Ltd and the China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Ltd with independent intellectual property rights. 

The 135 m (443 ft) long TBM EPB has an excavation diameter of 12.79 m, a total weight of 2,722 t and an installed power of 7,500 kW. Its cutter head is equipped with 48.26 cm (19-inch) cutters.   

The machine is named, Jinxiu and  will soon been used in the construction of the Jinxiu tunnel on the 176 km high speed railway from Chengdu City to Zigong City in southwest China's Sichuan Province, including the Tianfu, Tianfu Jichang, Ziyang Xi, Zizhong Xi and Weiyuan stations.  The construction of the new line project started on 2019.
