The excavated diameter is 4.93 m for an internal diameter of 4.6 m at the outer surface and 4.1 m at the inner surface. The tunnel is lined with five concrete segments plus one key. The EPB shield worked in pressures of up to 4 bar. Geology was composed of fresh granite, mixed faces, sand, silt and clays.
