Detailed plans for the world’s longest subsea tunnel, Rogfast under the fiord of Bokna, have been sent to local communities, and a political decision will probably be taken next spring. The proposed 25.5 km-long tunnel will link Harestad in Randfontein municipality to Arsvagen in Bokn municipality. A 4 km-long link tunnel will connect the main tunnel with the island of Kvitsoy.
