The JV led by Impregilo SpA (Italy) and including SK Engineering & Construction Co Ltd (Korea) and Galfar AI Misnad Engineering & Contracting W.L.L. (Oman) secured the EUR1.73 billion contract for Design and Build Package 1 of Red Line North Underground of the Doha Metro. The JV QDVC (51 percent Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company and 49 percent Vinci Construction Grands Projets) - GS Engineering & Construction Corp (South Korea) - AI-Darwish Engineering W.L.L. (Qatar) secured the EUR1.69 billion contract for Design and Build Package 2 of Red Line South Underground. The JV Porr Bau GmbH (Austria) - Saudi Binladin Group Company Ltd - Hamad Bin Khalid Contracting Co. W.L.L. (Qatar) secured the EUR1.69 billion contract for Design and Build Package 4 of Green Line Underground of the Doha Metro. It will build the 15 km-long underground section for the Green Line, which runs north-south through the city. Tender n. RTC/041/2012.
