Line 14 - On the 12th October 2019 during the KM7 event at the Saint-Denis Site, the name of the third TBM to be used for the line 14 construction on the Grand Paris Express was announced. The TBM will be called Valerie, after Valerie Fratellini, Pedagogical Director of the Fratellini Academy. The TBM will drive the 5km Jean Prouve-Maison Blanche section of the Grand Paris Express.
The TBM Claire has now started digging again after a 5 week stop so the Pont de Rungis station could be finished. Claire has already excavated 360 meters on its route to Chevilly Trois Communes station.
Line 15 - On the 8th of October 2019, three weeks after Marina, the JV Horizon T3A (Bouygues Travaux Publics/Soletanche Bachy/BESSAC) lowered the shield of the TBM into the Ile de Monsieur launch shaft at Sevres. Lot T3A of line 15 South, comprises of civil engineering works between the Pont de Sevres Station(included) and Fort d’Issy-Vanves-Clamart Station (not included).
