Open invitation to tender, deadline 30.09.2019, for client
support services for the stages of the concept/execution and intervention
project (stages from tendering to commissioning/completion are optional) for
the Gotthard road tunnel renovation on the N2. The 16.9 km long Gotthard Road
Tunnel, opened in 1980, and needs comprehensive renovation due to its age.
Until 2010, a Global Conservation Concept (EK) was developed for the global
project, focusing on solution without the construction of a second tunnel tube
(2TG). The renovation measures proposed in the EK are therefore to be reviewed
at the beginning of the project and new alignment study has to be carried out taking into account the
new conditions.
