Notice of public works concession, deadline 14th February, 2005 for construction, maintenance and operation of a two-basement transport interchange in Principe Pio, including a 301.7 m entrance tunnel, single tube with sections of 99.84 sq m minimum and 172.8 sq m maximum, and a 192.3 m exit tunnel, single tube with section of 99.8 sq m. The inner diameter is 7.4 m including pavements. Geology: anthropic landfills of sandy nature with clayey matrix and anthropic remains, also alluvial deposits of the Manzanares river constituted by sands with scarse fine contents. The surface of the Principe Pio transport interchange will be 27,000 sq m divided on two basements. There will be 28 bus platforms and about 500 m of tunnel to connect directly with the A-5.
