The Joint Venture of Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte Ltd (France) and Wai Fong Construction Pte Ltd (Singapore) secured the EUR189.5 million (SGD294 million) contract for the construction of Tanjong Rhu station and its associated tunnels along the 13km Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) in Singapore. Construction works are expected to start by the first quarter of 2016 and targeted to complete in 2023.
Bachy Soletanche Singapore Pte Ltd is currently involved in the construction of TEL’s Orchard and Gardens By The Bay stations. Wai Fong Construction Pte Ltd is an established civil engineering contractor in Singapore. They are currently involved in the construction of TEL’s Mount Pleasant Station.
