Rotary Constructii Mentenanta of Bucharest has been awarded the contract for the design and upgrading works on the Craiova–Drobeta Turnu Severin–Caransebeș railway line, part of the Orient/East‑Mediterranean Corridor, Lot 6 Cap X Po Nou Poarta – Caransebeș, km 436+887 to km 474+046.53.
The Lot includes two new cut‑and‑cover tunnels, Poarta II (550 m) and Poarta III (305 m), as well as the upgrading of the Fenes (271 m) and Tampa (268 m) tunnels.
