Preinformation for the planning, design and preliminary engineering of a 10 km light rail system between the city centre and Nesttun. Includes four double-track tunnels totalling 2.1 km, 7.9 m-wide x 6.9 m-high, namely Wergeland-Sletten centre (400 m), Sletten-Fantoft (300), Fantoft-Paradis (1,100), and Paradis-Hop (300). No support, only rockbolts in weak areas. One underground station at the regional hospital, 30 m-deep x 60 m-long x 15 m-wide. Tenders for engineering design end-2003. The contract price is NOK292.7 million. The contract includes the construction of two tunnels, 640 m and 400 m long, and three stations.
