Skanska Norge AS from Oslo secured the for EUR 1.66 bn (NOK19.08 bn) contract, excluding VAT, for the PPP Contract on design and engineering, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the E10/Rv85 Tjeldsund-Gullesfjordbotn-Langvassbukt (Halogaland Road/Halogalandsvegen) project. A total of 82 km of new road will be built, including 27 km through a total of 7 tunnels. Of the remaining, 35 km will be built in the current road line, while 20 km will be laid in a new road line.
