Veidekke ASA from Oslo signed the UDK 02 contract, value EUR180.97 million (NOK 1.83 billion), excluding VAT, including building a 290 m soil tunnel into Stromsasen south of Drammen station and a 540 m concrete tunnel (cut & cover) for the double track project Drammen-Kobbervikdalen on the Vestfoldbanen railway line. Detailed engineering and preparatory work starts immediately, while heavy construction work will commence in April 2020.
