Project Scope
Framework contract (Lot 1 – B2) for maintenance and safety works in railway tunnels on the Bergen Line (Bergensbanen) and Sørlandet Line (Sørlandsbanen).

The scope includes tunnel inspection, structural stabilisation measures, water ingress control, frost protection, and general maintenance of tunnel infrastructure. The works support continued safe operation of long-distance rail corridors crossing mountainous terrain and include interventions in multiple existing tunnels along both lines.

Tunnel Characteristics

• Multiple railway tunnels across two main lines
• Drill-and-blast constructed tunnels through hard rock
• Includes ageing infrastructure requiring stabilisation and waterproofing
• Located in high-altitude and harsh climatic environments

Contract Value
€31.44 million (NOK 350 million).
