Scope of Works

covering the widened A9 Gaasperdammerweg, including the tunnel and associated interchange works.

During project implementation, issues arose that could not be resolved without a formal Employer’s Modification. The modification has a duration of 12 months (overall lot duration indicated as 24 months).

The bundled publication serves as a corrective measure to retroactively comply with publication obligations for modifications not previously published.

The contracting authority determined that:

• The circumstances could not reasonably have been foreseen at contract award (Article 2.163e Dutch Public Procurement Act 2012)
• The nature of the contract was not altered
• The modification remained proportionate
• The amendment was necessary to ensure safety and operational continuity
