Anas has issued the award for two major lots covering the executive design and construction of the new SS 106 Jonica bypass between Sibari and Corigliano‑Rossano, with a total investment of approximately €1.2 billion. The works concern the new alignment of the SS 106 “Jonica” between Coserie and Sibari, in the province of Cosenza.
Lot 1 – Awarded to Webuild SpA (€531 million)
Webuild will deliver approximately 17 km of new state highway between the Coserie viaduct (Rossano) and the Corigliano Ovest interchange. The lot includes highly complex structures: 15 viaducts and 3 overpasses totalling 3 km, plus a 1.4 km twin‑tube cut‑and‑cover tunnel.
Lot 2 – Awarded to Consorzio Ordinario Eteria (€376.3 million)
This lot covers the section from the Corigliano Ovest interchange (approx. km 17+000) to the end of the intervention (approx. km 32+000), including the upgrade of the SS 534 towards the coast.
