BCL – Building Construction Logistics GmbH at Frankfurt secured the
EUR1.49 million contract, excluding VAT, for the light metro system project in
Karlsruhe. The project includes Kaiserstrasse tunnel (1 x 2,030 m) and
Ettlinger tunnel (1 x 1,000 m), cross section 65 sq m and 9.4 m i.d built with
TBM, NATM or open cut; seven stations each 100 m-long at Europaplatz,
Lammstrasse, Kronenplatz, Durlacher Tor, Marktplatz, Ettlinger Tor, and
Kongresscentrum; and four shorter road tunnels (1,520 m total) in Kriegstrasse
