PROJECT DESCRIPTION

DEGES is inviting tenders for the construction of the A281 federal motorway section BL4.3 in Bremen, covering Tunnel sections T3 to T22 and the eastern cut-and-cover structure (Trog Ost).

The project forms part of the closure of the A281 motorway gap between Airport-Stadt and the Kattenesch / Huckelriede interchange, including connection to the urban road network.

Main works include:

• Construction of the eastern cut-and-cover structure (approx. 25 m long)
• Construction of tunnel blocks T3–T22 (approx. 250 m total length)
• Roadworks and integration into the city street network

KEY QUANTITIES (INDICATIVE)

• Reinforcing steel: approx. 3,885 t
• Concrete: approx. 45,600 m³
• Sheet piling: approx. 985 m²
• Structural steel profiles: approx. 550 t
• Asphalt: approx. 8,300 m³
• Excavated material disposal: approx. 81,700 t
• Cable protection ducts: approx. 10,890 m
• Pavements, kerbs and surface layers as specified in the tender documents
