The joint venture Ferrovial Construccion and Spie batignolles Valerian have secured the EUR438 million contract, excluding VAT, for the construction of a section of the Paris Metro line 18. The contract includes the construction by a TBM of a 6.7km tunnel between the Saint-Quentin Est and Versailles-Chantiers stations, 8 ancillary infrastructures and 3 stations (Saint-Quentin Est, Satory and Versailles Chantiers). The preparatory work will start at the end of the summer 2022 and the civil engineering work in early 2023.
