No contractor has been selected for the modernisation of the 16.6‑km Nemanice I–Sevetin section, the final southern segment of the 4th Railway Corridor linking Decin (near the German border) with Prague and Ceske Budejovice, and continuing onward to Linz.
The project includes:
- Double‑tracking of the Nemanice I–Sevetin section
- Capacity upgrades and alignment improvements for speeds up to 200 km/h
- Construction of two new tunnels:
- Hosinsky/Hosin Tunnel – 3,120 m
- Chotycansky/Chotycany Tunnel – 4,810 m, set to become the longest railway tunnel in the Czech Republic
