Postponed to 29/07/2025 the deadline of the open invitation to tender for the modernization of the 16.6 km Nemanice I - Sevetin section, the last southern section of the 4th transit railway corridor, connecting the state border with Germany near Decin with Prague and Ceske Budejovice and continues onwards to Linz. The aim of the project is to double-track the Nemanice I - Sevetin section, increase its capacity and also line speed, up to 200 km/h. The section will include two new tunnels: Hosinsky/Hosin (3,120 m) and Chotycansky/ Chotycany (4,810 m) that will become the longest tunnel on the Czech railway network.
