MTR Corporation Ltd secured to Dragages Hong Kong and Bouygues Travaux Publics Joint Venture the EUR468 million (HKD3.9 bn) contract for the extension of the Hong Kong Metro's Tung Chung Line (TCL) west of Lantau Island. The contract includes the construction of a 1.3 km tunnel between Tung Chung and Tung Chung West stations and the new Tung Chung West station, which will become the line's new terminus.
