Contract Description

Asfinag Bau Management GmbH has launched an open tender procedure for underground geotechnical measurements and partial documentation using a tunnel scanner on Section 2 of the A26 Linz Ring Road, between Danube South and Waldeggstrasse. The contract forms part of the ongoing development and monitoring works associated with the A26 strategic road infrastructure project in Linz.

Scope of Works

The contract includes specialist underground investigation and documentation services, covering in particular:

• Geotechnical measurements within underground structures
• Partial structural and geological documentation using tunnel scanning technology
• Data collection and analysis to support construction and long-term monitoring
• Works along Section 2 of the A26 ring road, including the Freinberg Tunnel

Key infrastructure element:
• Freinberg Tunnel length: approximately 3.2 km

All services are to be carried out in accordance with applicable technical standards and safety regulations for underground road infrastructure.

Contract Duration

• From: 1 September 2026
• To: 31 December 2030
