The NSW Government awarded the EUR808.75 million (AUD1.15 billion) contract to build the North West Rail Link’s 15 km twin tunnels from Bella Vista to Epping to the JV Thiess (50 percent)/John Holland (25 percent)/Dragados (25 percent). The contract requires four double-shield, hard rock, gripper TBMs. Excavation and civil works for five new stations at Cherrybrook, Castle Hill, Showground, Norwest and Bella Vista are included.
