Aktor of Greece awarded EUR58.6 million construction contract for single-tube, 2-3 km-long Tirana-Elbasan tunnel. Construction will commence in April, 2011 for completion in 18 months. The tunnel is on European transport corridor VIII connecting the Adriatic/Ionian coasts to the Black Sea.
