This week, Comol5 installed the first tunnel technical installations (TTI) in the service building of the Corbulo  tunnel in Leiden. It affects 54 different installations that ensure a safe tunnel, such as the lighting, cameras, emergency telephones and the fire alarm system. Over the past two years these installations were set up and tested extensively at the test location in Eindhoven.

At the testing location in Eindhoven, the modules are prepared for transportation and placement at the final location in the service buildings of the Corbulo tunnel. The modules are packaged to prevent dust and waterproofed for transport.  

Earlier in May the first few meters of 8 proposed escape passages between the two tunnels were excavated.
