THE WORLD TUNNEL CONGRESS 2019 IN NAPLES, ITALY FROM MAY 3RD TO MAY 9TH 2019.

The whole underground industry will meet in Naples to study and discuss the state of art of tunnelling in connection with “Triple A” sessions - Archaeology, Architecture and Art. In fact Italy is able to offer a wide range of examples, thanks to its morphology and long experience in building tunnels dated many hundreds of years ago. The city of Naples is also a place for innovative infrastructures like the so called urban underground Stations of Arts, such as the multi-awarded Toledo and Università stations.

The Naples appointment will also be the occasion to shed light on the newly published Emerald Book by ITA-AITES and The Italian Art of Tunnelling 2019 by SIG. During the WTC2019 the new ITA-AITES President will be elected.
