Serbian Association for Tunnels and Underground Structures in

collaboration with the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association will 

host the Southeastern Europe Tunnelling Conference and ITA Tunnelling Awards 2025

at the Sava Center in Belgrade, Serbia

25 finalists of the ITA Tunnelling Awards from 13 countries will explain the stand out details of their projects during presentations and roundtable discussions before the Gold, Silver and Bronze winners of the prestigious Brunel Trophy are awarded in the gala celebrations on Wednesday 1 October. 

The Southeastern Europe Tunnelling Conference on Thursday 2 October will highlight a list of major projects planned and progressing in the Balkans, an area in-line for significant European Union investment in public infrastructure for metros, road and rail networks, to sanitation, water supply and flood control. Clients and authority decision-makers will present plans and schedules in the Project Showcase presentations and at their booths.

Friday 3 October is set for technical tours of tunnelling and underground projects in Belgrade presenting an opportunity to network with project professionals and understand the financing, forms of contract and environmental considerations applicable to project developments in Serbia and the Balkan nations.
