Normet increases investment in tunnelling market2009 proved to be a good year for Normet, promoting the decision to invest another EUR1 million at their plant in Iisalmi, Finland. 2010 has started spectacularly, with an order from Hong Kong for 20 machines for the HATS project. CEO Jari Osmala sees a continuously growing tunnelling market, and his expectations for 2010 are positive. By September, COO Tom Melbye expects the new Normet global spare parts distribution centre in Holland to be fully operational in support of the network of 23 locations in 16 countries.
