International Symposium on Brenner Base TunnelThe faculty of civil engineering and faculty of geo- and atmospheric sciences of the University of Innsbruck organizes an international symposium on the Brenner base tunnel and the adjacent sections on 1st and 2nd March, 2007 in Innsbruck. The conference will have two sessions. The morning session on 1st March will deal with the Brenner base tunnel and the afternoon session on the same day will deal with the Lower Inn valley access railway. Beside the key lectures given by representatives of the client organisations, 16 papers will be presented at the plenum session and an additional 14 abstracts will be presented in the poster session. On the second day, an interesting programme of site visits will be organized to tunnels under construction in the Lower Inn valley.
