The Call for Papers for the 9th International Symposium on
Tunnel Safety and Security (ISTSS 2019) is open. The symposium will be held in
Munich, Germany, 11-13 March 2020. This event will bring together experts in
the field of tunnel safety and security for 3 days of presentations and
exhibits.
The ISTSS hopes that you are interested in taking part in
ISTSS 2020 and welcome you to submit a paper or poster for presentation. Papers
and posters will be reviewed based on an extended abstract of at least one full
page, but no more than two pages.
ISTSS is working with the scientific ‘Fire Safety Journal’
and some selected papers will be suggested to be included in a special issue.
Important dates for the paper submission process:
• Abstract submission deadline: 5th May 2019 • Acceptance
for paper submission: 28th June 2019 • Full paper submission deadline: 29th
September 2019 • Paper review feedback: 29th November 2019 • Final paper
submission deadline: 12th January 2020
Important dates for the poster submission process:
• Abstract submission deadline: 1st September 2019 •
Decision for poster acceptance: 27th September 2019 • Final abstract submission
deadline: 1st December 2019
The language of the symposium is English. Authors are
invited to submit an extended abstract either for paper or poster presentation.
