Line 15 South - End of excavation for TBM Camille -

TBM Camille, launched from the Creteil l’Echat station in October 2019 and after 4.2km - reached Salengro (Champigny-sur-Marne) on Line 15 South of the Grand Paris Express: click here to view a video.  During the summer the TBM will be dismantled and transported by special convoys. Camille is the 5th TBM to complete its drive for  Line 15 South. By the end of 2021 all the other 5 TBMs on Line 15 South will reach their final destination having driven 33 km in total.   

Line 16 - TBM Ines reaches its final destination  

On 20/07/2021 the 9.83 m diameter TBM EPB Ines – reached its final destination at Hugo au Blanc-Mesnil at nearly 23 m deep. It’s the first TBM to complete its drive for Line 16. In 11 months it has driven 3.08 km, connecting 1 station, 3 service structures and 2 connection structures.  Over the next 3 months the TBM will be disassembled and the pieces will then be removed and taken away in convoys off the site. For further information please click here and to find back ground information visit  fr/127 in the tunnelbuilder archive.
