Excavation of Olabarrie tunnel starts

On 23.05.2012 excavation of the 1,102m Olabarrie tunnel started, including the 75 m section in cut/cover at the adit. The tunnel is on the 4.6 km-long section Durango-Amorebieta/Etxano of the Vitoria/Gasteiz-Bilbao-San Sebastian high-speed line which involves three tunnels of 2,515 m total length.
