El Muron tunnel excavation completeBreakthrough of the 1,730 m El Muron tunnel on the 3.5 km Aspe-El Carrus section on the high-speed line to the east coast in Spain's Alicante province was achieved in mid-June. NATM methods were used for 238 m at the north end and 36 m at the south end, with drill/blast for the intermediate 1,465 m. For more click here and es/95. 28/11.
