On 13.06.2013 Adif completed the drilling of the Corga de Vela railway tunnel. The 1,170 m bi-tube mono track tunnel is in the Prado-Porto subsection of Ourense province on the Madrid-Galicia high-speed line. The portal sections will be in cut/cover for environmental integration. The section is 52 sq m. The tunnel will be lined with concrete segments, thickness minimum 30 cm.
