Since 2018, the Paris metro has seen and continues to see Cipa working on the project. Cipa Italia, plays a leading role in the implementation of transport improvements and the strengthening of connections in the French Capital.

Metro line 14 Extension to airport Orly 

Cipa – has been a part of the construction of Maison Blanche Paris XIII (MBP) station and of a tunnel between Tolbiac/Nationale 2 (TN2) and MBP – they also built the access shaft and the metro tunnel and carried out the excavation and shoring of the MBP station body, even side.  

Grand Paris Express project 

Cipa - as part of Line 15 South connecting Noisy Champs to Bry Villiers Champigny - has built five tunnels, emergency tunnels, and two ventilation tunnels for the connections between the tunnel and the four shafts, for the passage of the metro trains. 

Cipa has recently won the contract for: 

• the excavation and lining of 7 ventilation tunnels along the section connecting Saint Denis Pleyel and Le Bourget RER on Line 16. To be carried out using a half section from a precise platform, in order to overcome the difficulties imposed by the project ; 

• the excavation and lining of 6 emergency and ventilation tunnels including the cutting of walls and assembly and disassembly of metal portals to support the lining segments, for Line 17 North, connecting Saint-Denis Pleyel to Le Mesnil-Amelot; 

• the building of the segment shoring for the excavation of a emergency tunnel for Line 15 South.  

Cipa - as part of the Line 11 extension project

• is in the process of defining the contract for the assembly and disassembly of 3 metal portals. Works will start at the beginning of May 2021. 

• is in the advanced stage of commercial negotiations for the construction of 11 Moroccan or foundation pits/shafts for viaducts.  

Eole project  

Cipa - in the framework of the West extension of the RER E line (Eole): 

• Cipa has worked , in the Puits Traingle site area, on the excavation and support of 4 Cross Over tunnels each at 61 m-long  
• built a trapezoidal shaft and two tunnels, 20 m-long each, for the emergency exit in Carpeaux area, plus the shafts for two lifts. 

• built 28 foundation shafts to be used for the construction of the pillars of the new station’s supporting structure. 
  
  

Horizon project 

Cipa was also assigned with the civil engineering works of the Donges refinery, near Nantes. These works, which will be distributed over a year, are an integral part of the ISBL “package” of the HORIZON project.
