Caterpillar to Hold Live Demo of Tunnelling ExcavatorAfter the high-level attention the 325CR tunnelling excavator got at the Bauma fair in Munich, Cat will run a live tunnelling construction demonstration on 1st and 2nd July. The demonstration will take place at the Hagerbach underground test facility near Sargans, eastern Switzerland. This is a great opportunity to witness a variety of typical tunnelling jobs like scaling and ripping with the ripper bucket, rock cleaning and advancing with the hydraulic hammer, profile cutting with the rotary cutter, clearing and loading with bucket. Among the target audience are the Swiss tunnelling contractors and a good number of selected European customers. The show is from 10:00 to 14:00 including lunch.
