For almost 60 years CTS Cordes tubes & seals GmbH & Co.KG (Division of CORDES Group) from Germany has been a reliable industry partner in providing sealing solutions for pipeline and manhole construction projects. After getting involved in the field of tunnel segment gasket application CTS Cordes has made additional investments by expanding their production capacities at their new site in Boizenburg, Germany.   Due to an increasing number of new tunnel project orders, CTS Cordes has launched four additional gasket pressing machines since 2017 and has installed an additional extrusion line in spring 2018.  

CTS Cordes now develops, manufactures and supplies all kinds of elastomer profile seals needed for mechanized tunnelling and pipeline construction and has achieved a unique and exceptional market position as being a full-range supplier for that industry.  

Tunnel Segments equipped with CTS Cordes Sealing Gaskets have been used on the DB Albvorlandtunnel Project. CTS Cordes has developed a tailor-made profile geometry that meets the specific design criteria for the DB Albvorlandtunnel project, a High Speed Rail Link which is part of the Stuttgart 21 mega project in Germany, and now provides a considerably improved water-proofing performance without offset-related weaknesses.
