Press release - The 33rd Edition of the World's Leading Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Building Material Machines, Mining Machines, Construction Vehicles and Construction Equipment (bauma 2022) was unveiled on October 24th, 2022 in Munich. China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Corporation Limited (CRCHI) exhibits its comprehensive solutions and equipment product portfolio which covers the whole industry chain of tunnelling construction.
CRCHI also delivers new experiences for the comprehensive solution of underground engineering equipment through AR, VR, L-shaped screen and other digital ways. The exhibited products cover the categories for full-face tunnel boring machine, drilling and blasting tunnelling equipment, mining equipment and so on. Advanced technologies and products such as the super-large-diameter slurry TBM "Jinghua", are exhibited and showcase the complete set of intelligent equipment for the whole process of drilling and blasting construction and the bolt miner is also being exhibited.
To enhance the exhibition experience for the audiences, CRCHI developed a set of VR virtual experience system and customized AR glasses for its TBM products. This delivered live experiences to the audiences so that they can have a zero-distance feeling of application scenarios for a TBM right through from factory assembly, testing, production management, quality inspection and on to the after-sales service on site.
The key item of this exhibition, is the full-face tunnel boring machine which includes 9 series of more than 170 types, covering the horizontal, inclined and vertical directions, with a diameter of 0.5-23 meters.
The maximum excavation diameter of super-large diameter slurry TBM "Jinghua" is 16.07 meters, which is China's first super-large diameter slurry TBM of its class. It has been used for the Beijing East Sixth Ring Road for its Reconstruction Project and set the tunnelling record of 542 meters in a single month. At present, 4,772 meters have been successfully excavated by “Jinghua”, which is the first section of tunnel to be completed.
The "Shenjiang No.1" TBM working on China's deepest undersea tunnel (with a maximum burial depth of 106 meters) has successfully over come the ultra-high water pressure, and construction difficulties of the super-large diameter TBM. Some of the difficulties’ were launching with shallow covering soil and advancing through soft-hard double layer strata.
Manufactured by CRCHI, the largest diameter TBM (Φ12.19 meters) for India for the construction of the Mumbai coastal road tunnel has excavated 456 meters in a single month, which set a new record for the construction of large-diameter tunnel in hard rock formation.
The drilling and blasting tunnelling equipment that CRCHI provides has a variety of products for the whole construction process, such as probing, excavation, spoil transportation, primary support, secondary lining, auxiliary works as well as inspection and maintenance, which are widely used in railway, highway, water conservancy, municipal, subway and other construction fields.
