Bookmark Stuva Tagung '05Germany's STUVA organises its conference and exhibition STUVA Tagung '05, on 29th-30th November and 1st December in Leipzig congress centre. The event combines an exhibition and public conferences, which for the first time will be simultaneously translated. The conferences include 35 presentations from international experts on recent topics of underground construction: Recent technical developments in all areas of underground construction, i.e. construction materials, construction machinery, linings, waterproofing, ground exploration; Design, construction and financing of large-scale projects; Innovative construction - challenges and potential for developments; Safety and risk issues regarding construction and operation of underground structures; Fire protection issues regarding construction and operation - new challenges and standards; Maintenance, refurbishment and upgrading; Technology for operation, environment and safety; Contractual issues from tendering to awarding and Financial and economic issues, PPP. The STUVA Prize '05 will be awarded to an outstanding innovation. On 1st December, excursions will take visitors to construction sites and traffic infrastructures.
