Transdyn was selected to design, build, and maintain an Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) and Facilities Management SCADA System for the EUR1.11 billion (US$1.45 billion) Elizabeth River Tunnels Project in the cities of Norfolk and Portsmouth, Virginia. Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) and Elizabeth River Crossings (ERC) have partnered to construct a new Midtown Tunnel, rehabilitate the existing Midtown and Downtown tunnels, and extend the Martin Luther King (MLK) Expressway.
