The Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport has awarded Affholder Inc. a $20.96 million tunnelling contract for the installation of 1.6 km of 2.75 m-diameter and 623 metres of 2.45 m-diameter storm drain in a soft rock tunnel bored with a 3.86 m-diameter Lovat TBM.
