Meyco reports it is supplying Fix SLF foam admixture for soil conditioning on the 5 km x 6.56 m-diameter EPB tunnels and Fix TSG for tailshield sealant. For annulus grouting Rheocell/Rheofill, a special foam admixture, was used to prevent bleeding and segregation and overcome problems with locally available coarse sands. They will be internally disassembled in the tunnel with sacrificial skins to be left in situ because Kovan station works are at an advanced stage with no vertical access, and the permanent eye is in place and smaller than the TBM diameter.
