April 1998.   Due to open 2002, 20 km line runs entirely underground with 16 stations linking World Trade Centre to Punggol and will interchange with existing MRT at Outrani Park on East-West line and Dhobi Ghaut on North-South line. Eleven contracts along line and a twelfth for the depot. For annulus grouting Rheocell/Rheofill, a special foam admixture, was used to prevent bleeding and segregation and overcome problems with locally available coarse sands. More information at www.mbt.com February 2000.Lovat reports machine 257/18000 broke through to Kovan station on 30th August and 257/17900 on 4th September.
