McConnell Dowell South East Asia Pte Ltd has completed tunnelling on Downtown Metro Line 2 Contract 916 Beauty World for the Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA), valued at approximately EUR170 million. Two 6.64 m-diameter TBMs progressed in a variety of ground conditions ranging from 200 Mpa unweathered granites to soil, with plenty of mixed face in between.
