The LTA (Land Transport Authority) of Singapore has awarded Alstom a contract for the supply of the signaling system for the final phase of the Circle Line (CCL), Stage 6. The contract includes the supply of Urbalis, a supervisory system for driverless trains based on radio transmissions (CBTC), the equipment of the new trains and the locomotives for the existing line as well as the modernization of the ATS (Automatic Train Supervision) system.
