Work expected to commence in 1999 with completion in 2003 to include 2.8 km inlet tunnel at 6.3 m diameter and similar section 1.4 km discharge tunnel. Two powerhouse caverns: 21.5 m wide x 40 m high x 60.5 m long; and 17.4 m wide x 13.4 m high x 47 m long. Also, two raisebored shafts 415 m and 52 m; ventilation tunnel 625 m long; 1,210 m access tunnel; and 130 m connection to water intake. Support by sprayed concrete and steel arches.
